Going from Zero to One: How to Install an Experiment-Driven Culture

Organizations are full of boxes, and there is a box for everything. There are role boxes, process boxes and budget boxes, just to name three. Sound familiar?

In most organizations, however, one box is missing: the one for experimentation. There’s not clear ownership or accountability for experimentation. There’s no clear budgeting process for running experiments. You won’t often find an incentive structure in place to reward learning through experimentation, either. Essentially, there’s no place for testing and learning in organizations today. And because of this, companies often fall into the trap of doing more of what’s worked in the past instead of innovating and risk-taking.

In this keynote, you’ll learn tested and effective strategies that can help your organization start to become experiment-driven. You’ll hear real-world examples of how companies, large and small, find the right mix of incentives, emphasis on learning, and data democracy to create an effective, learning-driven culture.
