Amadeus launched Nexwave as a corporate venture building unit in 2019. 5 years down the line - including 2 years of global travel meltdown - Marion will share learnings from the ride so far, including:
- how have we done vs. initial ambitions? what business have we created for Amadeus?
- how have we evolved our methodologies and why?
- how have we evolved our execution model and why?
- how did we obtained and maintained top-down corporate support?

Marion is leading Nexwave, Amadeus' business incubator, whose mission is to identify, incubate and grow the next generation of Amadeus businesses, with the potential to transform travel experience and fuel company long term growth. Nexwave consists of a team of ~150 people, across multiple locations – made of intrapreneurs, business developers, UX, Software engineers, digital marketers and experts in innovation management.

Today she is based at Amadeus offices in Nice (France) and reports to the SVP of Corporate Strategy. She joined Amadeus in 2011 in the strategy team, became chief of staff for the Head of Amadeus Research & Development in 2013, and in 2017 she took the lead of the global Amadeus Innovation, Research & Ecosystems division which she shaped into what Nexwave is today. Before that, she spent 10 years managing research & innovation projects in Accenture Technology Labs. She graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique.

A technical background with a good business acumen, her pragmatic approach combined with a forward-looking mind, and her collaborative mindset enable her to engage people into co-creating great businesses and driving change for the travel industry.
