In this session, we will delve into the four Market Stages and the path to becoming a Market Maker. There’s a difference in how you behave, how the market perceives you and how you lead, depending on which stage you’re in.

About the speaker

A successful entrepreneur and business developer, Ken helps organizations take their ideas off of the back of a napkin and successfully into the market. He has built international-scale companies spanning manufacturing, product development, distribution and professional services. As CEO of Spyder Works, Ken helps companies with both business and innovation strategy.

Ken is the co-author of two books on innovation — the 90% rule and the bestseller Cause a Disturbance which are being avidly read by business leaders in the U.S, Canada and Europe. Business journalists with leading publications and networks including The Globe & Mail, INC, CNBC, Forbes and Bloomberg have recognized the timelines and power of these important works. Ken is currently working on his highly anticipated third book set to close the loop between dynamic team building, customer experience and intrinsic value — Never Be Satisfied: An Entrepreneur’s Guide to Intrapreneurship.

As world-class business leader, Saquib shares insights garnered from managing organizations across three continents. As President of Duracell Canada Inc, a Berkshire Hathaway Company Saquib Vali played a key role in carving out Duracell from P&G as a separate legal entity and company Before establishing Duracell as Power You Trust in the Canadian market, Saquib spent 21 years at Procter & Gamble where he gained invaluable experience across Asia, Europe and North America. In addition to earning his MBA from the IBA, Saquib graduated from Rotman School of Management’s Directors Education Program (DEP) and completed the ICDD Designation program from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
