David is the Principal partner at Sun Spin Advisors, LLC which offers consulting services to early and mid-stage CPG companies specializing in Business Model validation, Brand Strategy, and Innovation & Growth.

He is also currently the interim CEO of EcoDirect Hotel Laundry based in Chicago, IL where he is leading the company’s expansion into both Nashville, TN and Austin, TX.

Previously, he spent 19 years in CPG leading various brands across multiple categories. At Kraft Heinz, he served as the leader of their Springboard Brands division — a platform dedicated to nurturing, scaling, and accelerating growth of disruptive U.S. brands within the food and beverage space. Prior to KH, David spent 18 years with Procter & Gamble (P&G) where he led several billion-dollar brands including Tide, Crest, and Oral-B.

He spent his last 3 years at P&G as the co-founder/CEO of Tide Spin, an app that allows customers to send their clothes out to be cleaned by the experts at Tide and delivered back to their home. He led that business for 3 years ultimately proving out a new business model for P&G and scaling it through an acquisition. Tide Spin (now operating as Tide Cleaners) is available in 12+ cities across the U.S.
