Managing innovation in organizations is a daunting task. For any organization be it a for-profit, non-profit or state-run entity, innovation has been a coveted aspiration for years and yet very few organizations have managed to generate real, tangible outcomes. There are those, however, who have managed to create innovation systems in large organizations successfully. Ahi Gvirtsman is Vice President of innovation for a large multi-national corporation and the creator of the “PEAK innovation principles”. He has rich experience creating innovation systems and mentoring organizations into creating such systems.

In this workshop he will take you through a hands-on exercise of evaluating your own organization’s innovation proficiency level and share actions that you can execute in order to take the first steps towards turning your organization into an innovation powerhouse.

Since 2012, Ahi Gvirtsman has accumulated a rich experience in forming, building and running innovation programs for various types of organizations both as the manager of such programs and as a mentor to innovation managers of diverse types of organizations. He personally designed, built and managed an innovation program within a Fortune 50 company covering 18,000 employees worldwide.

In his book “The PEAK innovation principles”, Ahi offers a common framework based on his experience that can be implemented by any type of organization in any industry as a way of turning itself into being innovation proficient. He is a 20+ year veteran of the software industry with roles ranging from large corporations to small startups. He has an MSc in computer science from the Technion and an MBA from Tel-Aviv University.
