During the session you will learn how Rabobank has organized its (Open) Innovation activities. I will especially share how we are organized and how we perform matchmaking between our business lines and innovation partners like startups and scale-ups.

Furthermore, I will share some examples, challenges, life hacks to make Open Innovation work and how we make our buy, build, partner decisions since we also work together with our investment teams.

Max Kranendijk is leading Open Innovation (OI) at Rabobank, a talented group of analysts, partnerships managers, scouts and innovators. He is currently part of the Innovation Factory, an internal innovation agency at Rabobank.

OI is accelerating innovation partnerships and avoiding building everything ourselves and has previously worked within innovation at Vodafone(Ziggo). All in all, he brings in 12+ years of (corporate) innovation experience, ten of which he has worked at the intersection of corporate and startups as well as 9 years as a mentor for startups via accelerators such as Startupbootcamp.
