At Ericsson ONE we figured out what is needed to create successful ventures inside a big global company. It’s not easy, but by staying true to our startup mentality and leveraging Ericsson’s global scale, technologies, relationships, and expertise, we’ve managed to create a unique program that encourages disruptive innovation and breakthrough ideas. However, our success wouldn’t have been possible without the team behind Ericsson ONE and the intrapreneurs willing to take the chance of developing their ideas with us. This keynote delves into how we made Ericsson ONE a success from a process and people’s perspective as well as what we learned along the way.

Daniel is a Founder & Global Head of Ericsson ONE (venture studio / internal accelerator), which seeks to help internal entrepreneurs / intrapreneurs and innovators test and scale their ideas to become Ericsson’s next growth bets.Fantastic pipeline built since start with; 3,000+ ideas || 175+ prototypes || 50+ MVPs || 7+ industrializations || and expecting a few to light some fire in 2022 and into 2023.

Before this, Daniel has had a variety of GM and strategy roles within Ericsson, including serving as General Manager for MetroTech, which was a Boston-based software company acquired by Ericsson in 2014. He has a broad record of identifying and developing companies and talent and have pivoted between the US (Silicon Valley and Boston) and Sweden. Daniel holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Economics, Engineering & Management from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and is a dedicated husband and father.
