As Innovation Director of Sigma, Marta has a solid professional background in the FMCG sector in areas related to business strategy, project management, product development, branding and communication.

Her more than 18 years of experience in marketing and innovation in the food industry began at Nobre, the leading food company in Portugal, owned by Sigma. After five years as Marketing Director in Nobre, she joined Sigma Europe team to manage the Emerging Categories and Snacks division, and has been the Innovation Director of the multinational food company for the last four years.
