We live in a world of mounting performance pressure that is increasing the need for fundamental change. At the same time, though, this mounting pressure is leading to the spread of fear that resists change. If we are going to thrive in a rapidly changing world, we need to find ways to acknowledge the fear and then move beyond it by cultivating emotions that will help us to achieve impact that is meaningful to us. To make this journey, we need to harness the untapped potential of narratives, passion, and learning platforms. After recently retiring as a partner from Deloitte, McGraw Hill published his new book, The Journey Beyond Fear, that addresses the psychology of change and he is developing a series of programs to help people navigate through change at many levels.
