Cyril Bouquet is a professor of innovation and strategy at IMD (Lausanne, Switzerland) where he orchestrates all kinds of innovation journeys for companies. His new book, ALIEN Thinking: The Unconventional Path to Breakthrough Ideas, expolores how pioneering thinkers and change makers in a wide range of professions - inventors, scientists, doctors, entrepreneurs, and artists - are able to make great leaps of creativity, offering a model that reveals a recurrent pattern in the way creative solutions evolve and survive. Cyril also created the program TransformTech, in collaboration with the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, for senior leaders to explore how new technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and the internet of things are transforming the world of business.
