Leaders cannot pick the winning ideas on day one. Instead, the best way to find good ideas is to make small investments in a lot of ideas. During this Ask Me Anything session, Alex and Tendayi discussed how companies can manage an innovation funnel with multiple small bets, track progress using the innovation project scorecard, make decisions to kill some ideas and increase investments in those ideas that are showing traction. They also discussed the role of innovation stages and how leaders can ask the right questions at the right time.
