About the session

Psychological safety is the number one driver of performance and is essential for creating an inclusive environment where everyone can bring their best. This highly actionable “how to” session will equip participants with the research-based key actions leaders can take to foster psychological safety. Participants will learn the 5C's of psychological safety and gain a sample of simple tools to enhance their ability to promote psychological safety in 1:1, team, and supervisor relationships.

About the speaker

Laura Delizonna, PhD is a Stanford Continuing Studies instructor, international speaker, author, and executive coach with an expertise in psychological safety, leadership effectiveness, high performing teams, and life optimization. She delivers practical, interactive, science-based trainings and inspiring keynotes. Laura has presented to business leaders, government officials, and public audiences in 20+ countries. She works with innovative leaders to shape their company’s culture, including Google, Facebook, Accenture, McKinsey, Uber, Hewlett-Packard, LinkedIn, and Disney. Laura co-authored four books including Enhancing Emotional Intelligence, Mindful Leaders, Thrive, and Mindful. Her article on high performing teams was published in Harvard Business Review made the top 3 articles in 2019 in all of HBR and has over 1 million views. She was trained at Stanford, Boston University, and Harvard.
