About the speaker

We discussed in this session how to conquer challenges with identifying and building new businesses and new business models inside corporations. It will introduce assessment tools, organization design tools and deployment tools that help innovation leaders at all levels successfully create fantastic new businesses.

Paul Campbell has been a thought leader in corporate innovation for more than two decades. His experience with a broad range of business models, technologies, and products around the world lends him a unique perspective on the changes in business innovation and leadership. He provides listeners an overview of innovation developments, where they have led us, and what we can expect in the future.

Paul Campbell successfully built new businesses that generated billions in revenue for companies like Hewlett-Packard, Philips Electronics, Schneider Electric, W.L. Gore & Associates and Btomorrow Innovation, an innovation entity of BAT. As Chief Innovation Officer at multiple companies, Paul helped leadership teams assess the cultural, structural and leadership changes necessary to foster an environment of innovation in large companies that matches the speed of startups that optimizes capital deployment and return on R&D and Innovation programs.

Paul is an advisor to the World Economic Forum, the European Commission and numerous accelerators/incubators around the globe. He lectures at bay area universities on the unique leadership and organizational approaches necessary for large companies to capture disruptive innovations that lead to outsized growth and Fast Company recognition.
