How to Get Faster and More Consistent Validation of Projects in Their Early Stages

Séverine Herlin

Founder & CEO at Vianeo

as recorded on 28 October 2021 as part of Innov8rs Connect on Foresight & Business Design

What are we going to sell and to whom? What should we develop and for whom? These questions, among many others, seem simple and obvious. But innovation teams deal on a daily basis with early stage projects that don't have the answers yet and may have not even asked themselves theses questions yet...

Facing complexity and uncertainty plus a diversity of methods to assess new ideas, during the session we will present you a way to rationalize the validation of projects and make sure every fundamental stone has been taken into account to validate the potential of projects.

In this session, we discussed:
- business design systemic method and effectuation to run and validate exploratory projects (vs. classical project management).
- how to get the data base of the project business case and be able to iterate and produce deliverables all along the journey
- why digital platforms become essential to structure ambitious programs while keeping value creation at the core of the program(manage workflow and data, good process contribute to strong culture).
