Join this discussion with Parsia, Antoine and Michelle- three innovators who are running ventures/units quite separate from the core business, even though they are still part of the larger group. They will share the key elements of their program/setup, the distance to the core and how that works in practice, and how they are leveraging the mothership assets for their ventures/units.
Antoine Poincaré is 33 and leads the “Climate School” within AXA Climate a cutting edge learning initiative to help companies upskill their staff on the sustainable transition. After only one year the Climate School is working with leading companies such as PwC, Microsoft, Accor, Schneider Electric or Heineken for a total of 3M users. Before joining AXA Climate he worked six years at Coorpacademy a European edtech focusing on digital transformation.
Michelle Woo works with entrepreneurs who share ENGIE Factory’s mission to accelerate the transition to a carbon-neutral economy. Through ENGIE’s global presence in over 70 countries, she builds partnerships with aspiring founders and early stage startups to build new climate-tech ventures and help scale their solutions globally.
Michelle has worked in the startup ecosystem in Asia for over 10 years. Prior to this, She was an intrapreneur in a real estate company and kickstarted a coworking business. Later, she became the General Manager of Impact Hub (a global coworking community for entrepreneurs) where she helped led sales and operations to scale the business across multiple locations. She later managed the Singapore Oracle Startup Cloud Accelerator programme in offering startups access to Oracle’s products and partners, as well as engagement opportunities with customers.
Parsia is a fighter in the transition towards an energy sector with net-zero emissions. He uses design as a lever to positively influence behaviour that helps us move toward a more sustainable future. In his own way, he challenges the status quo of organisations by storming established bastions. He thinks ahead in digital transformations with a pragmatic combination of strategy and execution. With a solid background and more than 10 years experience in the energy sector, Parsia proved himself to be a digitally savvy executive. His pioneering spirit has taken him all over the world. He started his career with the United Nations in Mozambique and an NGO in Bangladesh. For innogy he kickstarted a global innovation hub and worked with start-ups in Tel Aviv. And in South Africa he saw with his own eyes the social impact of a digital talent programme. Today Parsia is the founding father and beating heart of digital agency The Garage – now 100% part of E.ON.
