About the speaker

Oleksiy is a purpose-driven business leader with 17-year track record in strategizing, shaping markets and developing new business models in complex and dynamic environments. He helps organisations to thrive in energy transition by embracing uncertainty and delivering system transformations.

In 2017-2021 Oleksiy has been leading Shell’s Energy Transition Program spanning across ten countries and development of global sectoral decarbonisation strategies. He was also a member of Shell Scenarios leadership team.

Oleksiy graduated from Kyiv National Economic University in 2002 with the Master’s Degree in International Business Administration. He also holds Ph.D. in Economics from the Institute of Global Economy and International Relations of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine.
